How we work

Initial consultation
When you contact Clare Beckwith to discuss your plans, you will have a free, no obligation initial consultation. You will meet Clare, and she will start to get to know you and what you most want so she can personally help create your ideal occasion from beginning to end.

The number of face-to-face meetings is agreed at the outset, and Clare will be available by phone and email during the planning stage to ensure you are always kept informed of progress.

You are unique
We treat all of our clients as individuals. That’s why we don’t offer packages – no two events we plan are the same, so you can be certain yours will be both unique and exactly what you want. Because we don’t package our services, we don’t have a set price list. Instead, we discuss your requirements with you before advising how we can help. Once we know what you are looking for, we can tell you our charges.

We are flexible
You may already have ideas of your own you want to incorporate, or you may want Clare Beckwith to design your occasion from scratch. Whatever you decide, we never forget that it is your event, so we listen to all your suggestions and requests. That way, we work with you to design an experience that is unique to you.

Working with you
Clare guarantees to work with you and on your behalf throughout, and will meet with you regularly to let you know how the plans are progressing.

When you give her the thread of an idea she will use her knowledge, experience and contacts to build on it; and because Clare consults with you all the way, you know that she is working hard to make your wedding or event what you want it to be. It matters personally to Clare that everyone enjoys the experience.

Personal attention
Throughout the planning stages and on the day itself, Clare will personally be working with you. You will never be handed off to someone else who doesn’t know or understand your requirements. That way, you build up a relationship with Clare as she gets to know you and you’ll never need to waste time ‘starting again’ with someone new.

Sticking to a budget
As your planner, we recognise you will want to keep costs to reasonable limits, so let us know what you are aiming to spend and we can make sure you stick to it. Once we’ve agreed your budget, we’ll organise and work with all your selected suppliers to give you a memorable occasion within the amount you want to spend.
